The key ingredient in the SkinVive formulation is hyaluronic acid, a molecule that can attract and bind up to 1,000 times its weight in water.

Preparing for your treatment
If possible, avoid wearing make-up to your appointment. But if that’s not possible, don’t worry – we’ll remove it for you before we get started on the treatment.
Avoid any microneedling and chemical peel treatments to the area/s for at least 2 weeks before.
If you’re breastfeeding or pregnant, we unfortunately won’t be able to perform this treatment – but talk to our therapists, and they’ll help you arrange a later date when you can join us, and discuss other treatments available, based on what you want to achieve.

SkinVive™ by Juvéderm® is a skin-hydrating injectable treatment that uses tiny microdroplet injections of hyaluronic acid to improve skin smoothness, hydration, texture and radiance from within, without changing facial volume like traditional fillers.
SkinVive™ works by delivering microdroplets of hyaluronic acid into the dermal layer of the skin. Hyaluronic acid attracts and binds water, helping the skin stay deeply hydrated, softer and more luminous.
Many clients notice improved hydration, smoother texture and a healthy glow within a few days, with results typically lasting around 6–9 months.
A SkinVive™ session generally takes about 30 minutes, making it a quick treatment suitable for a lunch-break appointment.
Most people experience mild discomfort during treatment. SkinVive™ contains lidocaine (a local anaesthetic), and your injector doctor can use additional topical numbing if needed to improve comfort.
SkinVive™ is commonly used on areas like the face (especially cheeks), and may also be suitable for neck and décolletage depending on your consultation and goals.
There’s minimal downtime. Most clients can resume normal activities immediately, although you may experience mild redness, swelling, or tiny bumps at injection sites that usually settle within a few days. This will also be discussed during your consultation.
If possible, arrive without makeup, but your doctor can remove it for you before treatment. Avoid intense skin procedures (like microneedling or chemical peels) in the two weeks before your appointment.
If you’re pregnant or breastfeeding, SkinVive™ is not recommended at this time. A consultation is essential to confirm suitability based on your medical history and skin goals.
Traditional fillers are designed to add volume or reshape areas of the face. SkinVive™ focuses on enhancing overall skin quality, improving hydration, texture and radiance rather than volume or contour.
